New and noteworthy. . . Exquisite Surfaces is opening on Thursday Oct. 24 in the Dallas Design District. Founded by Tunisian native Paula Nataf 15 years ago in Los Angeles, the showroom carries stone, terra cotta, wood and tile (including some gorgeous cement tiles). Houndstooth heaven . . . this black and white pattern is big in fashion right now and it's also everywhere in home decor this season—one of my favorites is Ligne Roset's new Togo lounge in Houndstooth.
