Cheong Kwang Ho at Read Contemporary |
Wired for silence. . . these quiet works of art are by Korean artist Cheong Kwang Ho, who weaves intricate patterns from copper wire to produce extraordinary two- and three-dimensional sculptures. White space under and around the works make them appear to be floating in space, almost like mist hovering over a meadow on a cold morning. The artist uses traditional cultural images such as tea pots, fish and Ginko leaves to tell his story—Read Contemporary in Dallas will have 12 of Ho's works for sale in November.
