Milo Baughman Furniture Road Show

Furniture Designer Milo Baughman
Milo Baughman teamed up with the great North Carolina furniture maker Thayer Coggin in 1953, producing what is now some of the world's most sought-after modern design classics. To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Thayer Coggin is sending 21 of Baughman's most famous vintage pieces on a road show.

The traveling show launches in Dallas tomorrow, January 16 at Cantoni/Contempo Designs showroom in the World Trade Center from 4-7 p.m. It'll be on view in Dallas through January 23 before moving on to Austin, St. Louis, Chicago, Denver, Oklahoma City, Salt Lake City, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.

It's a chance to touch and see these extraordinary original furniture designs up close, which many collectors of mid-20th century modern rarely get to do. Also, on opening night in Dallas, you'll have a chance to talk to Thayer-Coggin's Phil Miller, who will be on hand at the cocktail reception.
