Laura Lee Clark's tropical-inspired room in the window of Thrift Studio |
The wonderful canopied daybed and table were donated by Janus et Cie |
Everything's for sale including the amazing crystal chandelier donated by Allan Knight, which she mixed with cheerful, battery-powered paper lanterns (I hear they hold a charge for 4 months!) The artwork is a batik fabric, and the Chinese doors are antiques. The majority of the pieces come from Dwell with Dignity's warehouse of donated goods, including this sectional and table. Laura Lee had dozens of bright pillows custom made from high-end fabrics. |
The lavender chairs are from Dwell with Dignity's own inventory, and the beautiful geode sculptures were donated by Empress Gilbert (see her things at E.C. Dicken).
Next Friday—the day before Thrift Studio opens to the public—I'll show you photos from the other vignettes. Look for rooms by Lisa Luby Ryan, Stella Dallas, John Phifer Marrs, Breckinridge Taylor, Cynthia Collins, and Peacock Alley.
I've seen them all and they blew me away!
