Houses Gardens People: Blue Lotus Gardens

Fauna and Farm . . . part of what I love about covering design is discovering talented new people. Dallas-based floral designers Brianne and Trey Denton, who own Blue Lotus Gardens, created a beautiful dinner for 100 for a Chefs for Farmers benefit, shown here. Set in a farmer's field filled with yellow mustard flowers, Trey and Brianne plucked thistles and wild-growing grasses from the side of the road to fill the charming vintage bottles they set the long table with.
